When u first get into the game you will appear on tutorial island now when going through this tutorial pay close attention because it will teach you the basics of the game. Once u are done with the tutorial you will appear in the town of lumbridge this is the place you where u go when u die. At first you will only be lvl 3 so I recommend training on low lvl monsotors such as goblins and rats which can both be found in lumbridge. Well that is most of the basics about starting off.
