There are four things directly related to combat these are Attack which makes so u are more accurate and can weild better weapons which the order is bronze 1 iron 1 steel 5 black 10 mith 20 addy 30 rune 40 and members only dragon 60. Then next is Str which makes it so u can hit higher and the higher u hit the qquicker u kill ur opponent. Defense Defense is like attack except u are wearing armour and defending urself instead of attacking it is the same stats the for each type of metal though.
There are also other parts of combat not direct though which includes prayer, magic, and range which helps in sticky situations.
